Samsung multi-csc code

There seems to be a great deal of confusion about installing Samsung firmware that has a multi-csc code in the CSC firmware code. For example, Samsung firmware from Panama (TPA) often uses UUB as a multi-csc code. When installing firmware that uses a multi-csc code, you need to go through extra step of selecting the sales code for a cellular network. Please read the "Changing the Samsung CSC product code" FAQ for more information.

Tips for freeing RAM

A new phone is loaded with widgets. When you install a new app, it wants to send you notifications, or synchronize your contacts or photos. The back button doesn't close an app, it just returns to the previous screen. Then there are apps that start during the boot process, even though you rarely use them. The Heartbleed bug is a major Internet headache

You cannot ignore the Heartbleed bug. It affects everyone who uses the Internet. If you ignore the Heartbleed bug, you are risking hackers capturing your passwords, and your data. The Heartbleed bug is a major problem, because it affects Internet security. I highly recommend, installing LastPass to manage your passwords, and to create unique passwords for every account. LastPass is the only password manager that tells you which passwords need to be changed, and when to change them. Spread the word about the Heartbleed bug to all your friends. For more information see "What you need to know about the Heartbleed bug".

Goal of Blog

This is not my only Android blog. Writing about Android began with articles for the Costa Rica Star, which led to the creation of Android News for Costa Rica. While this Web site started with a focus on Costa Rica, it now covers Latin America. The site is in English and Spanish, but the vast majority of comments are from Spanish readers. Besides this blog, the third new adventure is Android Magic. The Android Magic blog will focus on basic Android for users. In comparison, this blog shall focus on the technical side of Android.
